Nice app with a very responsive developer.

I went through, just about, every email app in the store and stuck with this one. I had three very good potentials. So far, so good; time will tell!

V1.2.9 seems worse yet. Disappointing I find this to be an app with great potential but the latest updates seem to be less stable. It seems to freeze often but I am waiting for the next release in hopes that stability will be one of the new features. :) I am also awaiting landscape view mode.

Requires ALOT of polishing. UI is clunky, slow, freezes often, cannot delete mail accounts, only uses Dropbox attachments, in app browser does not close or go back, app looks fuzzy on my 6+, email setup is lengthy. Needs a cleaner and more professional look. Love all the uses of swipe gestures within app. Makes using it very easy and do not have to stretch to edge of screen.

I use Googles 2 factor login to my account and i have attempted to use this app with my account but when I enter my email address and the app specific password from the google security settings I get a parse error. I guess Im just going to wait for my invite to google inbox...

Downloaded app and tested it out over weekend. While it has potential there are some serious issues, including it not pulling in all emails and not coming up with the right search results I think this app has potential but for now it needs a lot more work.

The app has a really nice ui for viewing mail contents, senders, mailboxes and subsidiary contents, such as a browser window, as sliding windows. Making it easy to slide the contents window out of the way when i want to see the list of received mail or sliding to the left to view contents. I had been using Yahoo mail but Envelope is more intuitive.

Found this, wasnt sure at first. Now that Ive gotten used to it LOVE IT!!!!

Not perfect but ranks as one of the best email apps around. Its a cross btw the mailbox app. and the inbox cube Mail app. The more I use this app the more I features I discover. Like it separates documents, pics, and video into their own categories making them easy to find the emails that contains them. A few flaws like the notifications are a bit buggy and dont always work. When viewing a document and after zooming in to view it. Leaving the document to return to the email app. seems impossible or maybe I just havent found a way. The app. also freezes occasionally. But overall Im impressed.

I have been looking for an email app that I like and for me, this is it. While not perfect, you can tell by the thought put into the app that the developer is going to make sure its top notch.

After struggling with using 3 different email apps depending on what I needed to do, I found this one, the only one I need -- and it has more functionality than the others combined. I would gladly pay $$ for this app, but hey, its free. How do I "contribute"? I know, you think this is a review by the developer or friend, but it is not

Just downloaded this and cant even set it up. The first account froze in testing account mode. After deleting and reinstalling I tried adding another mail provider and then it wouldnt let me out of that screen. Deleted for not working.

Although I REALLY wanted to like this app – because I have been looking for an alternative to iOS Mail for a long time – Envelope sadly isn’t it. Yet. There are too many bugs and too many crashes to make this app usable. Each time I read an email and return to the Inbox, that email is duplicated in the list. And it duplicates each time until the app crashes. And when you restart, many emails will be missing from the Inbox all together. And trying to set a default signature without the default developer line is impossible, As well as getting an html signature to work properly. Kudos to the design engineers, though. If the app actually worked, it would be fabulous.

I downloaded this on my iPad. It will only work in horizontal mode. I do every thing in vertical so I cant use it.

Fantastic UI. Get it to stop crashing and Ill get my whole company using in! :)

I liked the GUI and approach, but it too frequently failed to pull down my gmail email.

I thought it is a great email app but i was wrong. Just simply opening a gmail email will always crash the app.

Best email app period

So here is my updated review... They fixed the issue with gmail crashing and I have been able to use the app with no problems ever since. Its the perfect email app. I love it. Thank you for fixing the issue. The layout is so easy and it works just the way I need it to. I feel so much more organized and in control of my mail again. There is much less clutter in my inbox and it takes me seconds to delete unwanted emails rather than endless minutes trying to organize it like I did before on my other email apps.

This is a great app, but I am writing this review to get the pop ups to rate there product to stop. Major complaint , other than that. Great app
